Just came back from dinner at dear's place...

so sad (but i din show it ^^) he gotta book in cos he got duty tml.

my throat is worse than ever, feels so swollen..cant even swallow my pills.. =x

dear oso sick but he's worst, voice change... and got flu..

Had quite an eventful week, perhaps cos its birthday...

just came back from S'pore flyer ride with Caiting and her friend, Jun Long.

then the day before, went to Skyfitness for yoga with yiling.

OMG! all my flexi kung fu from my yrs of dancing in pri to sec sch all gone.

the yoga trainer really kept an eye on us, & stretched the both of us...

i am aching all over now... e back of the neck got blue black. worst thing is that i got a little dry cough and so when my throat is itchy i cough, my stomach muscles like gonna tear apart.

very late le, so i shall post the other pics another time.

have to wake up early tml for my haircut appointment. =( [S]

~~Happy Birrrthday to Meee ^^ (erm, got abit dry throat)

reason being, i eat too much heaty food and am getting dehydrated in air con room 5 days a week.

celebrated wif family on sunday at Changi village de seafood restaurant;

chilli crab, cereal prawns etc then go home ate durians while watchin the closing ceremony of Olympics...

Yesterday, ate the famous oiishi "Seah Imm tomyam noodles" for lunch.

Then, before knock off i got a pleasant surprise from my colleagues..

This rich chocolatey cake with little cream... see all the food! scroll down, haven end yet.

After work, am "supposed" to meet bestful for dinner,

but i expected to see my dear based on my instincts..

i turn out to be right! haha...

~finally, got this bottle of paper roses handmade by him.. ^^

super nice!! even the waiter oso complimented (not him) the rose.. lol!

then, dear went to book in (see, so it means monday he was all along at home =x)while i went home... and later met Pck for my present from him n gf. =) Thank u.

~till then, its sleeping time...

today, planned to go to sky fitness centre with yiling n joanne aft work.

joanne got sth impt on last min so it was just e 2 of us.

so we went for our appointment at 6pm and did a quick body analysis.

i wonder how accurate e thing really was..

cos i was short of 2cm and 2 kg. tt made me under under weight.

which isnt possible given tt now i m doing office work only, compared to at ntuc i still get to carry stuff etc. wadever.

the analysis showed the usual, BMI, waist hip ratio, skeletal mass, fat free body mass.. all the things i learnt in Nutrition Across the Lifespan at TP. *brings back the memories*

nth much to be concerned except tt i have protein n fat deficiency. no wonder i m not growing tall.. but i try to drink milk every morning n night lei.

after tt, we went to do the massage, wad aromatherapy.. no smell and so painful.

ming ming noe our shoulders so stiff then press so hard. yiling said my back so red. lol.

and very uneasy.. cos its body massage. then u noe lar, no need to say in detail... =x

i would never do a body massage ever!

throughout and aft e thing, the staff kept promoting their packages. $60/session.

if join member then half price, but i just told e lady i m only a student lo.

then before we left we went to the cafe to enjoy a glass of welcome drink..

some organic strawberry smoothie, quite nice. [S]

Yesterday was like a dream!!

a very sweet dream which i would remember for the rest of my life.

i m still feeling floaty now. =p

celebrated my birthday in advance with my best-est friends by treating lunch at NIHON MURA!

~met des at NTUC wsd to catch up with our ex-colleagues.

they all look so tired.. but there's like nth we can do to help them too..

except to make ondeh ondeh? haha, cos tts wad MC asked for when she saw us. lol.

~my fave cake frm Four Leaves... but ate quite alot of it.
so i guess i wont wanna eat it till next yr. =p
I ate some of the dolly paper underneath the cake too.. lol.
then des was saying tis digusting story of the making of the black-hearted (hei xin) meat pau in china... tt ey mix meat filling n lots of white paper so as to save cost.. yeww. =x

~a staff which happens to be our PRCS junior took a grp pic for us! =)

~ went to make out arcade tapz card!

so nice la, can choose pattern de. ^^

and we played basketball, go go ball (tt one my dad played wif 2 little girls), and bishi bashi; which me n bestful are very bad at.

now my arm like aching lo... haha. cos v long nv go exercise le.

after tt, andrew and dear went off as they need to book in at night.

but u will realise later in this post tt one of them lied. =p

~reccomending u this very nice biscuits "chocolate mushrooms".

bought it at the fair in habourfront centre. =)

~ des n bestful got me tis top which i can wear for shoppin n work too..

i showed my mum when i went home n she gave me the " i told u tis was nice look but u din believe me" look. lol.

cos tt time went shopping with mum n she asked me to try similiar kinda of top but i refused. bleah...

~had some tea break at J.Co which des recc.

not bad, its soft donut but quite sweet..

the sofas are quite comfy too...

finally, we went back to Whitesands to do some shopping and then had dinner at Mac..

tis is where the interesting drama begun to unfold.

bestful n des said as "bday privilege" i could sit n wait for them while they buy e food for me.

so i sat there... and they bought our dinner.

i started eating some fries when suddenly a bouquet of flowers appeared before me

and someone said" happy birthday" in my ears.

was abit shocked lo.. and then i turn to see dear smiling at me. lol.

and the rest of the dinner i found out tt the "book in" was a scam blah blah blah.

but its really sweet.. and i appreciate the effort.

Sunday-- Family outing at Suntec City

had a filling brunch at Food Republic

and then we hit the convention centre.

went to take a look at the jobscentral fair..

then tis lady approached me to ask if i looking for job and she mistook my bro as my bf. =x

my bro nearly fainted... haha.

went to the Tangs bazaar and mum got me a new set of pink bedsheets!!

while waiting for us, my dad simply sat at the Oto booth to enjoy the chair massage.

then we walk by him and saw the salesman telling him the chair cost only $4000, but my dad was closing his eyes and putting on the earphones... lol.

we also went for a talk on East Europe org by chan brothers..

its super ex! so dad says he goin himself, cant afford the whole family's air tickets.. =p [S]

work is getting more n more these days, and i rather like it this way.

i dun even have time to log in to my jobstreet/jobscentral to check out other job offers.

anyway, took half day leave today as i went to CPF borad for interview...

tink cannot make it.. =x

3 interviewers, gave a a shock so i was super nervous..

jus glad its over!

went to visit my maternal grandma at CGH... she's okay and is discharged already.

cos she got diabetes and she din control it, so she fainted.

aft tt, went to dear's hse to wait for him to get ready to go out... =x

then went to catch movie as i got the free one for one GV movie treat. ^^

its an okay okay show... but it was rather disturbing as there was a girl sitting diagonally behind us and she kept laughing whenever the actor said sth. -__- every now n then, her mum was telling her to stop laughing... lol.

i managed to try to edit the pics of the food i took discretly at Ps. cafe... but it still looks very dark. =(

Friday Night -- After Work
went to celeb David's Bday... =)

went to this place called "PS Cafe" in Palais Renaisannce at Orchard.

it was a very fine dining place, so we all had to have "qi zhi" and all tt poise during our meal.. no pics of the food as we arent allowed. =x

got him a decent cake tt fitted well with the theme tt day...

the Olympic designed cake from BreadTalk. =)

i love the chocolate net as its made frm dark chocolate...

on our way back in the Mrt, we chatted on lots of secondary sch stuff..

most of which made us laugh till our sides ached.

Miss school!! i wanna go to school..

~Sat Night

celebrate National Day by having dinner at Ehub with family and dear...

~ dad had his fave rootbeer float,

bro pink Inc. (which i tot is sth like slurpee),

i had lover's sunset (a fusion of orange n cranberry),

while dear had Rich Velvet Chocolate Drink.

~ordered 2 of this.. cos its half chicken.
the prawn fritters are so fat, not ur usual skinny prawns.

~tis time round the meat is more tender.

but i still prefer Cafe Car*el. =x

~i was saying how come dun have those strands of cheese when i bite e pizza and then dear told me the menu mentioned it was "diet friendly".. hmm, true =)

after dinner, we decided to watch " The mummy"...

so before e show started we went t0 arcade see see walk walk.

~so funny. dad was watching these 2 girls playing this new game and then he joined in too.

i admit dad's better than them lor. cos his aiming is better.. lol.

the movie was ok ok.. i find e emperor abit er xin n sadistic.

after the movie, we went to Kopi alley for a cup of hot drink before heading home.

p.s my bro exclaimed tt its a clothed flag instead of plastic one and the jelly beans are from The Cocoa Trees.. whereas dear was saying the white jelly beans tastes yucky, should be milk.. but i reckon it might be almond. like mazipan. =X

hmm, yest 7 of us went to celeb David's bday.

woke up early to check my mail n stuff.. cos during weekdays already have to face e com.
eyes very dry n tired.. then had to search the whole hse to find my dad's book. then i tot of the place tts "zui bu ke nen"...
and i eventually found it amist a stack of newspapers tt is supposed to be for the "garung guni" uncle.. then my dad said, "who go n throw away my book"... lol, so funny.

anyway, i am so looking forward to going S'pore Flyer with Cai ting.
cos her supervisor gave her 2 free tickets which only entitles Aug ppl to go.
hehe, so i m honoured she invited me... unless she finds someone else.. =( lol. [S]

From today onwards, i will have company to and from work. ^^
cos melissa is working at Canon now too...
can save money on bus to mrt cos walk there, and sun bian exercise.
its diff dept but still can lunch and be bored to death tog. lol.
i need a more fast-paced job. >.<
if anyone got better job offer, pls rec me.
hope uni starts soon... then can just find a part time job while studying.
i miss school days!

hmm, now i am counting down to pay day. hehe.
and friday too.. cos aft fri is my pator day. =p

yest went to meet dear at TM for lunch and then we caught "money no enough 2".
it was a nice movie. the start was abit lame la, but towards e ending so touching.
cos of the song too.. it is sung with meaning and it fits the story. ^^ i can't help it, my tears jus flowed although i tried holding them back.
must be content with what we have! and spend quality time with ur loved ones...

So fast... its august already. =)
very soon, i will get my first pay!
have already tot of how to use and save it.

quite a number of funny incidents on MRT tis week.
the most memorable one is this praying mantis on the glass diagonally behind my head.
and the guy beside me was more worried than me (he was sittin on the front part of the seat throughout.!! din dare to lean back i guess). haha, i oso din know till he grabbed my arm and told me. cos all e while i was sleeping... then aft i saw e mantis i smiled and thank the guy. lol..
when i was about to alight, the mantis started to move and fly around... some Eeek and AHhs could be heard and the mantis actually landed on a lady's head. the guy who was seated beside me widened his eyes(very kua zhang lo) and pointed at her head... and she frantically kept sweeping the mantis off her.. (S)
