back!

with a brand new LCD monitor as the old one died silently last night. one moment telling my dad bt e news and then in 5 mins, we were at Courts. i noe theres this computer/ IT fair @ Suntec but, there wasnt enough time for us to get there ba.

anyway, on sunday i had a super nice dinner with my family @ Changi Village. n halfway through the dinner, the happy birthday song was playing for the table next to us. haha. tt day at Pizza Hut celeb with des n sam, the same thing happened. such a coincidence.

~oo, i love oatmeal squid. *crunch*

Yest, My birthday happens to be Toilet Paper Day. =D

on this date back in 580AD; The first toilet paper was invented by the Chinese, but it took another 1000 years to reach the West.

dear was sweet enough to be woke up by me by 9 in e morning to accompany me eat the famous Da Xia Mian (one of my family's fave eating spots) @ Beach Road cos dad wasn't free. at first, he grumbled cos of his lack of sleep n also cos we took bus 12. but the journey not tt long lo. 40 mins. haha! then, when he finished the food, it was all smiles. i guess tt explains "A hungry man is an angry man."

after that b4 noon, we headed back to Nutc Fp for qi yue bai bai and burn the "jin zhi". from set up to the end, took around 5 hrs. burn the jin zhi under the hot hot sun! i got abit chao ta liao, n the rest drenched with sweat. chris even burnt his hair slightly.

today dear told me today is my Chinese bday. So, Happy Chinese birthday to me...

thanks to all who smsed me bday wishes! ^.^

now, back to the bday celeb on SAT...
first, i went to dear's hse cos he had to take some 7th month stuff,

i secretly took his army cap while he was talking to his brother n SNAP!

then headed to TM adidas to get dq's present. n kiam got himself a black adidas cap. he was kind enough to let me wear it whole day...

N he even initated to take neoprints, something he dun like to do. ^.^

then, went popular to get laminating paper to laminate the pics while waiting for FP gang at tamp sports complex de jap restaurant for dinner. kaim lazy to scan the neoprints, so i took the some of th pics with my lousy photography skills.. =x

these days working is +_+. cos its quite cramp due to renovation, with all the things moving all over the place. messy is one thing, overcrowding is another. quite sickening cos some ppl just wouldn't walk through the place to find their stuff, they just open their mouth. N there are ppl who come "jiao ju" ask u why e organic apples are so expensive?! N wad is e diff b/w sunkist and oranges? -_-||| sian half trying to explain n yet she continue to ask u what is orange. just diff brands ma. *Aiyo*

kiam's booking out on sat at noon, going in sunday most prob evening/night. =)
sunday, originally planned to have brunch with family n so dear said, "take no pay leave cos bday leh". kns, my dad "mei fang zai xin shang" n is going ahead with his golf session. =x
AND so... meet my dad session has to postpone.
n he's so happy cos if i working he plan to wake up early, come my place n walk me to work, n meet me for lunch. reason being it's my birthday, v. impt!! ^.^ then now how? nvm, you xin jiu hao. shall see how am i to spend my whole morning n afternoon. erm erm... $40 dollars poorer u noe. lol.

oh ya, mum got me the new phone as present. hehe. LG chocolate black instead of white cos no stock. getting used to it. n must NOT drop it.

Sat, my Very advanced birthday celebration with Dear n to watch fireworks which was meant to be a surprise but i broke it when i asked him if he wanna watch. *opps* ^.^

walked around Esplanade n got my present. he brought me to make a bear. haha. i could guess it le. so not surprise, but nvm... the bear is soo sweet n cute la, tummy quite big (just like him, haha) the sweater buttons "hen nan kou shang".. =p

then, we had dinner at "wu zhao pai", w/o ordering any seafood. cos 2 person can't eat much.

becos we din make reservations we were made to sit outdoors and while waiting for e food, coincidentally; we saw Di Qiang n his aunty, kiam's friend n his sergant. haha.

by the time we finished out food at around 6plus, the place was quite crowded.

mummy went there with my cousin and told us they saved seats for us by the stairs. N so, i brought the quite paiseh kiam (>.<) over to meet mum. Lol. n when she jokingly said to him, eat good food never call me to join. he got more paiseh! HAHA.. tt moment was so funny. entertained ourselves while waiting from 7 to 9.15 then the fireworks started.

chatted Alot tt day, cos he was fully charged Nv show attitude or tiredness. first time i din have to keep on talking. the effort is SWEET. =)

my H a p p y hormones are on the rise. ^.^

*meeting the girls on sunday for dinner.

*then on monday going somerset with L4 n Maoge. :)

*N finally, there's improvements & finalisation of our MP title.

we are going to do a cookbook on vegetarian dishes. at least 21 recipes. not quite easy, but it's better than doing the lutein project. whaha.

goin to meet our lecturer next tuesday for proposal discussion.

n as i have been slacking since july, i hope we can finish this up b4 semester starts on Oct. =)

went to the Sony shop n the salesgirl told me the Vaio pink laptop got sold out. she said the response was overwheming and the display set was sold. lol. tts good, i can slowly save up. hehehe.
