been quite family-oriented fot the past month...

due to the short time we had, we decided not to catch movie, wait till CNY tt period can go watch 3 good movies recc by yile!

1. fann wong's (quoted as v.v. funny)

2. jay chou's (jus watch lor, looks interesting)

3. zhou xin chi's (quoted as v.v. lame)

back to the date yest, this ramen shop is at Century Square first floor...

if i rem correctly, des recc me to this place.

its halal, cheap and good.

90% of their ramen below $10. better than the "A--" ramen restaurant in TM.

my ramen really V spicy!! =)

yest, took leave frm work and went to the NTU open hse wif yile.
saw some schoolmates there too...
jus go n see, dun tink can get it. lol.
but the professor was quite encouraging too, cos NTU(as quoted) loves poly students.
most prob, will get a business related degree aft poly...
mum n dad been saying it will be v useful, which is quite true la.

oh, anyway... CNY will be only me n bro home alone.
dad goin to Holland for meeting there and he got mum a ticket for a 8 day holiday too.
soo good!!!
awww... we'll have less hong bao, lol!

aft tt, i went to dear's hse to help eir spring cleaning...
quite fun la to join in. never knew spring cleanin as; a whole family stay at home, all clear, clean, vacuum, throw the things outside the hse de. new experience. =)
had a sumptous dinner as a reward...

so i brought my heat-shaped mould for the egg in our nasi lemak. ;)

just glad its finally over. had my breakfast at 3pm, lunch at 6pm..
so i guess dinner will be at 9pm for me. lol!

~dinner treat from Yq @ Bugis

the first time i had a real lunch (thanks to aunty) on a sat... cos everytime its rush home bathe then meet dear. eating complete meals is realli impt. this 2 weeks i hav not been on e dot. skipped a few breakfasts n lunch-es, but din feel hungry. but fri morning i finally got the kick of low glucose symptoms... =(

evening, we went to meet yq n gf for steamboat. it e one wanzi recc... nice! i think my throat has been better aft eating the ma la huo guo. haha.

friday: ~david's pre-enlistment dinner @ MS

we went to this restaurant called Changing Appetite

(ere's a reason behind it, read on...).

wen in and the waiter din allow us to have the cushioned seats.

so, we did have much appetite already. haha. tt explains its name ba. lol.

the workers kept staring at us cos we were waitin for david to come, feel so pressured.

and they din serve us ice water, until we requested.

aft tt, we went to esplanade n took some pics...

i realised i could jump quite high (but e pic is not here). haha...

today we had FSM lab. i was the assistant cook 1 and allocated to the cafe "bristo walk".

speaking of that, i have something to announce.

next tuesday, it will be my group's turn to manage e cafe.

the theme is Thai Fiesta.

5 course set meal: appetiser, entree, carbo, veggie, dessert for bt $5-6.

lecturer have yet to decide on the price. it is located beside TP bookshop.

only 30 sets! so, come support at around 11am to 1.30pm.

~potato n leek soup with 2 pcs of crotons. this has a unique taste.
we prefer Cream of mushroom. =)

tuesday was a unfruitful shopping spree at TM.

thus, we decided to sit down and spend quality catch-up time at Cafe Cartel.

time really flies,... soon david (coincidentally saw him n james) will be enlisted.

~three of us shared e chk n fish combo, and our all-time fave St.louis ribs.

yum.
chatted till 9 plus, so we ordered the cakes (half price only).

sinful bitter choc and american cheesecake (which i din eat).

finally, we bought a shirt each frm Esprit. ^^

recieved a call from dear, my online clothes are at his hse. yay!

(sat going to hse to get them and eat dinner, YQ bday treat can't go. but we set aside following sat to celeb for him.)

then he oso say he'll be going taiwan for couple of weeks in April n Australia at the end of the year. tts all tentatively la, not confirmed.
very good, lucky din go brunei... can buy lots of things for me. haha.

we noticed there wasn't much queues at Donut Factory.

i got myself a box of three, while the two got a dozen each...

ooo, just came back from outing with trio at raffles place

~ supper for tonight from donut factory (1st time trying)

penut dark choc, apple cinammon, double choc

oh, i got a pleasant surprise on my study table.
NTU letter of invitation to their school of physical n mathematical sciences' open house.
and intro their 3-4 yrs direct honours programme.
tell me my eyes are playing tricks on me. i think they seriously made a mistake cos my results are only average... =x
but, no harm going there to look around. :)

2nd day of school..
finally got some time to blog.
rushing assignments and projects w/i this mth.
then CNY can enjoy le. =)

went to watch Alvin & the chipmunks on New Year's Day.
before e movie, i found their songs quite irritating and screechy...
after e movie, eir voices still sound screechy. but they are so cute!
like the chubby chipmunk; theodore most.
